Small note: I tried to catch as much as I could while watching the show so if I miss anything, I’m sorry.

Starting off the show is someone from Treyarch with CoD: Black ops and some gameplay footage. At least there is gameplay to start us off.

Next up is Don Mattrick, Senior Vice President of Interactive Entertainment Business starting with release of CoD: Black ops, all add-ons including map packs will be on xbox first in 2010, 2011 and 2012.

Project Natal’s name is Kinect. Hideo Kojima up now. He asks Shigenobu Matsuyama to come out. He is talking about what zandatsu is and now we get footage of Metal Gear Solid: Rising. Here we see Raiden cut some robot in pieces and the words zandatsu appear on screen. Instead of tactical espionage action, its.. lighting bolt action? MGS: Rising looks good though I think. End of trailer shows Raiden cutting up a water melon.

Next up Phil Spencer, vice president of corporate talks about big selling block buster games and big franchises on the 360. Says all games shown will be ONLY on 360.

Next up Cliff Bleszinski from epic games. Gets some people to help him out. Now Gears of War 3 demo footage now. Demo done, cliff says he will unveailing a new mode called beast.

Next up is Mr hype, peter molyneux to talk about Fable 3. Fable 3 is out on October 26th and now we see trailer for Fable 3.

Now, we find out MS studios newest partner is Crytek with a teaser for “Codename: Kingdoms”

Now Halo is talked about and we get Bungie creator director, Markus Lehto. He thanks people for support and now talks about Halo Reach. We see footage now from Halo Reach which ships this september.

Next up is Corporate Vice president Marc Whitten.

Talks about Kinect with a picture of it and saying it listens and responds to you.

Now we see how kinect works with the xbox dashboard. he then shows how he can use his voice to select things. He also shows how you can use your voice to play or stop things like Zune movies or music.

Xbox live is going to windows phone 7 now.

Now we see video kinect (Someone called Laura is doing the demonstration), As you probably guessed, video kinect is video chat. Laura demos it with one of her relative, Kristen.

Now we see ESPN coming to xbox 360. Some guys from ESPN come out and talk about what will be on ESPN on xbox 360.

Personal comment: ESPN stuff bored me, more games please?

Now someone else comes out and talks about kinect games. We see a girl talking to a tiger. Ok now this is cute but REALLY cheesy. That was so cute but CHEESY. Its called Kinectimals. This is honestly REALLY cheesy but cute at the same time.

Next up, Kinect games (Wii rip off now?) which is the usual mini game stuff with track and field games that involve running on the spot. Now a trailer with kinect sports games like bowling and javling.

Now we see kinect joyriding which is a racing game, (Wii rip off, all games have kinect in title? Like Wii Sports/Kinect Sports).

Next is Kinect Adventures which involve being off the couch (not relaxing for after work then?) and doing adventures and stuff.

Next trailer with a game from ubisoft for kinect called your shape, fitness evolved. seems like a wii fitness rip off.

Now we have a game from Harmonix called Dance central for Kinect… it looks to be a rip off of dance dance revolution.

Kinect will launch in NA on November 4th. 15 titles at launch.

Now a Star Wars game for Kinect, loooks more decent than the other games shown for kinect. Game coming in 2011.

Turn test studio creative director comes out. Shows racing game for Kinect, again looks better than previous kinect games.

Don Mattrick comes out again, talks about this year being the best for xbox.

Now we see the xbox slim with a quite trailer thing for it. At least it has wi-fi built it? It will cost the same price as a 360 now, $299. Shipping today to retailers. available later this week.

Personal Opinion of the conference as a whole:

I hated it, I thought it was as bad as the Wii music conference from a few years ago with Nintendo. I can see them trying to make Kinect Mandatory which makes it worse, I don’t play games to stand in front of a screen, I play games to sit down and relax after a day out, after work, etc. I just see Kinect flopping now honestly. Hopefully the Playstation Move has more actual games and no wii rip off games tomorrow.

As a sidenote: I’ll have the notes for the Sony and Nintendo conference up a bit later tomorrow or possibly the next day so I apologise in advance.

Anyway bring on Nintendos conference (which can’t be much worse than this) and Sonys conference tomorrow, hopefully they will be better.
