Hello everyone, this post is to make people aware of two upcoming conventions, namely the Penny Arcade Expo (PAX Prime) and the Tokyo Game Show (TGS). I will also mention something at the bottom relating to the Final Fantasy XIV Open Beta.
There is also no picture for this article, sorry. This will probably be one of the few posts I may have that doesn’t have a picture anywhere in the post. Just thought I would quickly mention that for anyone who may be confused as to why there is no image at all.
First off, I’ll say that Guild Wars 2 and Arenanet will be at PAX so I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for any possible announcements, new footage or anything else they may have there. Apart from that, I don’t know who will be at PAX however I will be keeping an eye out for anything that I think people will be interested.
PAX will take place between September the 3rd and September the 5th at the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle, Washington.
Now onto TGS, I didn’t actually realize TGS was coming up soon so I thought I would bring this up for anyone who doesn’t know when it is.
TGS has two business days and two public days, the business days are September the 16th and September the 17th while the public days will take place on September the 18th and September the 19th.

Finally, for those who wish to play in the open beta for Final Fantasy XIV, you can find out the information here, just click your region and read through what it says. You can download the installer as well from there in advance although be aware, it might be taken down in a bit.
If you read the announcement at the top of your regions sign up page, you’ll see it has been postponed but if you can get the installer, I recommend you do it as soon as possible since it takes a long time to download the updates.
