On this edition of From Beneath The Underground, I present to you the most underground thing I could find. The reason why this is so underground is because if I don’t mention it, then you will never ever hear of this. No matter how hard you try to find this album, you will never find it. And the reason for that is because I made this album! Without me, this album does not get released at all!But why am I telling you guys about this? And what is this album exactly?
This album is music that I have created over the course of a year. Sometimes when I am in my basement, I like to experiment with music. This album is the result of my experiments. Now, I did not plan this out. I did not say to myself I am going to create an album…it just came to me really.
Last week, I noticed I had a lot of songs attempts on my ITunes and I decided to clean it out since I never listen to it. I deleted like about 70 or so songs. I deleted mostly crap or things with awful sound to them. And I was like…you know maybe I should put this all together into one neat little package and see what people think of it. So I released it on Last.fm on this very day. I saved what I feel is my best stuff.
I sing sometimes but rarely. You will see when you hear me why I don’t sing often. Most of this was created on my keyboard and that is the only instrument I use. But I do use my keyboard to create different sounds. So you won’t hear the same thing on every song.
All of this is not perfect by the way. Some of it is quite good in my opinion and other stuff is just things I put together to see if it would work. Some of these are just random jamming really. The sound quality is not the best on some songs because I have had different mics. I finally found out recently which cheap mic does not let out my background buzzing. But the reason why I added some of the stuff with the buzz on it was because I felt it was good enough and it’s sound trumped the buzzing.
